First of all, never get a dog from a pet store because they come from puppy mills. Puppy mills are horrible places where the dogs are left alone with no food or water in tiny cages, and the shack is old and dirty. Many of them get diseases or die from starvation. The places to get dogs are humane societys or the Hua. I got my dog from the humane society and my neighbor got her's from the Hua. The HUA saves dogs from puppy mills.
