Destroyers

A destroyer is a ship that is fast and maneuverable yet long-endurance warship. It was intended to escort larger vessles in a fleet and defend them against smaller attackers. The destroyers are one of the heaviest ships in general use.

Cruisers

A cruiser is a type of warship that usually attacks enemy merchant vessels. The cruiser was the navy's force projection weapons. In the 21st centry however, the cruiser became one of providing air defence for a fleet. They are the heaviest ships in general use. Only four nations operate these huge ships.

Frigates

A frigate was a anti-submarine escort in World War II. It had limited armaament, a hull not suitible for open ocean work, limited speed and manoeuverability and a lack of range. In 1944, the British navy made a frigate that was produced for fleet use. One of the most succesful designs was the British Leander class frigate. It was used by several navies.
