THANK YOU! Parent-Teacher conferences are a vital part of school and home communication and I want to take this opportunity to thank all of our parents who made it a priority to attend these valuable meetings with your child’s teacher. We appreciate the opportunity to receive your input into your student’s learning and, in turn, to share student progress with you.

HOW CAN MY FAMILY BE PREPARED FOR A PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY? A public health emergency may occur as a result of natural disaster or widespread communicable disease. The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the leading public health authority in the nation, identifies several areas for family and individual public health preparedness. The CDC suggests that each family develop a “Family Emergency Communications Plan”. Emergencies happen anywhere, any time. Talk with your children and household members about how you will contact one another and be reunited in the event an emergency occurs when you are separated. Share with family members and carry with you: 1) A first and second local emergency contact number every person will attempt to call in the event of emergency or community disaster. 2) Identify and share an out-of-town emergency contact number. 3) Make certain each family member has every other family member’s school or work location and contact number. 4) Identify hospitals near school, work, and home. 5) If adult family members are employed in positions where they may be identified as essential personnel in an emergency, plan in advance an alternate contact person who will be able to assist children and other dependents.

We are a SCHOOL where Staff and Students EXCEL, Parents and Community CARE.
